BIRDWATCHING >>

Poland is a paradise for birdwatchers. This is one of the few countries in Europe where so many natural bird habitats has been preserved. A multitude of species that are rare in other parts of the Old Continent makes Poland the unmissable destination for every birder.

The calendar below presents periods of residence or occurence of the key species in Poland, based on trends from previous seasons. In case of some selected species, orange and red shading indicates the periods when the chances of seeing the a bird is better (the more intense the colour is, the greater chance to see the bird) due to eg. increased voice activity, display period, feeding young birds, large concentrations etc.

Of course, these are only approximate assumptions - each season is a bit different and much depends on the weather conditions in a given year.

We offer an opportunity to participate in a trip aimed at specific groups of birds, for example owls and woodpeckers. You can also compose your own list of interesting species and send it to us - as soon as possible we will contact you and offer a tour variant that will satisfy you!

Limits: min. 1 person, max. 6 persons
